Scottish Hydro Electric Transmission are currently assessing tenders which returned 15th May 2013 for £450m power line upgrade programme over the next five years. The framework contract is to upgrade and build overhead power lines to support renewable energy generation in the North of Scotland.
Three framework companies will be appointed late August/September 2013.
