Following a competitive tender process, Glenigan has been appointed to supply construction planning data to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (formerly the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government), the Cabinet Office and Homes England. Glenigan data is used to help inform Government policy and monitor trends in housing supply and the planning system.

Glenigan works in partnership with the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to deliver the Construction Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – an annual survey of completed construction projects.

They have produced specification products for over 30 years, including the recognised national standard specification system for the UK.

In 2021, Glenigan acquired Construction Information Services (CIS), Ireland’s leading provider of business intelligence to the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland construction industry.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme is delighted to be working with Glenigan to share industry data and support each other’s strategic aims and objectives. The Scheme is a national initiative, set up by the construction industry, to improve its image. Main contractors, trade contractors and suppliers of goods and materials can register with the Scheme and be monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.

Glenigan has a long-term strategic Partnership with the Building Research Establishment to share accreditation data on its BREEAM standard. BREEAM code type, stage, Rating and actual points score is all published on projects along with the date of report and the assessors details. This allows Glenigan clients to identify projects placing a focus on sustainability and pinpoint opportunities for environmentally-friendly products.

For several years, BRE SMARTSite have contributed to Glenigan’s annual UK Industry Performance Report, providing statistical analysis on environmental KPIs within construction. Through their SMARTWaste and YellowJacket products, they offer environmental and health & safety monitoring software, enabling companies to save time, money, the environment and lives.

The Construction Industry Training Board is a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry, working with industry, for industry, to deliver a safe, professional and fully qualified UK construction workforce. They work with construction companies to help them improve skills, increase their competitive edge and respond to the many challenges employers face.

The Home Builders Federation is the voice of the home building industry. Members of the HBF deliver around 80% of the new homes built each year. We partner with the HBF to publish the quarterly Housing Pipeline Report.

Constructing Excellence is a member-led organisation driving the change agenda throughout the built environment sector. Glenigan works in partnership with Constructing Excellence to deliver the Construction Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
