A major residential development in central London has been given the green light by Tower Hamlets this week.

Meridian Gate on the Isle of Dogs will see the construction of 400 new homes in a 53-storey tower.

Bouygues UK has bagged a £26.6m contract to deliver a new boutique hotel in Shoreditch, east London.

The new 120-room luxury hotel on Curtain Road will include a rooftop pool and a lounge complex overlooking the capital’s financial district.
