Contractor sought for multi storey car park

The University of Sheffield is planning a seven storey, multi storey car park on their Drummond Road site in Sheffield. Tenders are expected to be invited late December 2013 for the £4.75 million scheme that will provide 530 spaces. The architects for the scheme are _Space Architecture and works are expected to commence February/March 2014.
Decision expected on wind farm
RWE Npower Renewables are currently awaiting the decision from a second public inquiry from the Secretary of State for the Nun Wood Wind Farm in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. The 12 turbine wind farm is located between the villages of Bozeat, Harrold and Lavendon. A decision is expected by the end of 2013. Interested companies or suppliers should register with RWE Npower as procurement could commence Spring 2014.
Contractor awarded £9m contract
Eric Wright Group has now been awarded the main contract for the construction of 24 Flats & 6 Retail Units at Hale Barns in Altrincham. The £9 million scheme for Development Securities Plc has been designed by leach Rhodes Walker Architects and works will start on site November 25th 2013.
Work starts on supermarket and retail units
Bowmer & Kirkland has now started on site with enabling works for the redevelopment of the The Bishop Centre in Maidenhead. The £12.6 million scheme for Land Securities has been designed by 3D Reid Ltd and will include the construction of 11 Retail Units & Supermarket.
