Amey lands £90M Scottish highways maintenance deal

Transport Scotland has awarded Amey a six-year contract to maintain and improve the motorways and trunk roads in South East Scotland.

Plans approved for outdoor leisure complex

Plans have been approved for a new outdoor leisure complex known as Surf Snowdonia in Dolgarrog, Conwy. The project is for a new surfing and water sports park and will be a showcase for the World's first publicly accessible Wavegarden® artificial surfing lagoon A contractor is due to be appointed late June/early July 2014.

Tenders invited for leisure centre

Tenders are currently invited for the £19 million development of Irvine Leisure Centre. Works include the construction of a community/cultural and leisure centre, including refurbishment of town house, relocation of war memorial and development of a car park. Works are hoping to commence late Autumn 2014.
