Work starts on Aldi store

Projekt Construction have now started work on site for a scheme by Aldi Stores Ltd at the former Martex Cash & Carry Site in South Road, Cupar, Fife. Work started on site on 10th November 2014 for a period of 26 weeks. This scheme comprises of the construction of a supermarket of 1,587sqm with 93 car parking spaces. Projekt Architects Ltd are the architects who designed this £1.5 million scheme.

Sainsbury's store almost complete

Work is scheduled to complete on site imminently on a scheme by J Sainsbury Plc at their store in Bannister Way, Haywards Heath. ISG Plc are due to complete the work on 26th November 2014. This scheme comprises of revisions to the front of the store, resulting in a GEA increase of 665sqm, facilitating new customer services, which include a new coffee shop, a new entrance lobby and a new ATM room. A new wood pellet Biomass Boiler Unit is also to be installed at ground level to the rear of the store. CHQ Partnership Ltd are the architects who designed this £5 million scheme.

Tenders invited for Airport framework contract

Heathrow Airport are currently out to tender for a 3 year civil engineering maintenance framework contract worth £18 million. Tenders are due back on the 28th November 2014 and bidders include Clancy, Dyer & Butler and Ferrovial.
