Carillion: Robertson takes over £36m college scheme Robertson has taken over the contract for a £36m college development in Greater Manchester from Carillion, following the collapse of the UK’s second-biggest contractor in January. Tameside Council has approved the proposal to replace Carillion with Robertson to build Tameside College’s new Advanced Learning Centre, with all Carillion staff being transferred to the Scottish-based contractor.
