Expressions of interest for 3000 sqm workspace

Expressions of interest for a design and build contractor. Design and construction of a new managed workspace, referred to as Blyth Workspace.

Blyth Workspace will be a new (circa) 3000 sqm contemporary, energy efficient and high specification building, which will provide managed workspace targeted to be occupied by businesses within the energy sector. The contract will be let as a complete package, delivered using the Joint Contracts Tribunal Standard Form of Design and Build Contract 2011 with Arch amendments.

Arch has procured a design team for the design and delivery of the project in accordance with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Workstages A-L (to be become Workstages 0-7). The design team will develop the scheme design to RIBA Stage E, with the invitation to tender for the construction works being based on the level of design.

Following award of the contract, the design team will novate to the successful applicant (following completion of RIBA Stage E). Detailed plans have been submitted.
