A winning contractor will be appointed to a new £28m library scheme at the University of Leeds "within weeks" after the scheme received the green light.Planners have approved the project and construction is due to commence in late August. Architect ADP said the new library would provide 1,000 reader seats, flexible training rooms, a skills zone, community classrooms and café, in addition to flexible space for 6,800 linear metres of book stock.
