Selfridges has unveiled images of its £20m redevelopment of its Birmingham store.
ISG is the main contractor for the redevelopment work at the department store which will see each of the building’s floors renovated by 2017.
As part of the plan for Birmingham, Selfridges will install curved glass window displays at the main entrances from the Bullring shopping centre.
Willmott Dixon has won a £27m deal for the second phase of the University of West London’s Future Campus scheme.
Procured through Scape, the deal involves Willmott Dixon redeveloping the university’s St Mary’s road site in Ealing and follows the completion of phase one that included the renovation and refit of the Students’ Union building.
The government will commit £2bn to a second phase of the Priority School Building Programme from 2015.
The £2bn funding will come from the Department for Education’s £21bn capital allocation for 2015 to 2021, awarded in last year’s spending review.
