Balfour Beatty brands Mansell & Birse have been dropped

As part of ongoing restructure plans, Balfour Beatty has been phasing out its Mansell Building and Birse Civils brands over the last 12 months following press speculation that the names would be retained.  

On 2 January 2014, Balfour Beatty announced that the Mansell and Birse brands will cease.  The firms will now operate under the banner of Balfour Beatty Construction Services UK, run by Nick Pollard.

Following the announcement in October 2012 that Balfour Beatty were to undergo a comprehensive restructure to streamline their businesses, Glenigan’s researchers have been tracking the press and contacting various company offices to ensure that our data is kept up-to-date.  This is an ongoing exercise and changes will continue to be made to the Balfour Beatty profile over the coming weeks to ensure all live projects display the correct office details.
