Clugston wins £252m Bristol EfW plant contract

Clugston has been appointed as the main contractor to build a £252m energy-from-waste plant near Bristol. The company’s JV with CNIM was chosen for the contract by recycling and energy giant Pennon to build the facility, which is expected to process 320,000 tonnes of waste each year. The partnership will see CNIM provide the technology for the plant, while Clugston will carry out the civils work.

Simons Group wins £21m Circle Health hospital job

Simons Group has won a £21m contract to build a hospital in Birmingham. The contractor was appointed by health services firm Circle Health, which runs hospitals, rehabilitation and health services in the UK, to deliver the new hospital. The facility will include up to six operating rooms and 18 patient bedrooms.
