Parsons Brinckerhoff sale to WSP fetches Balfour Beatty £753m after cash transfer

Balfour Beatty has confirmed the sale of Parsons Brinckerhoff to WSP Global for £820m.

The sale price is significantly higher than analysts had tipped, after it was initially predicted to fetch between £600m and £700m.

Notting Hill Housing appointed Galliford Try to build its £81m Great Eastern Quays project in east London.

Kier lands £50m Greenwich Peninsula residential tower

Kier has been appointed to design and build a £50m residential scheme at the Greenwich Peninsula regeneration site in London.

The contractor will design and build 224 luxury apartments arranged in four blocks, anchored by a 24-storey tower.

Laing O’Rourke team wins £200m Dumfries hospital

NHS Dumfries and Galloway has appointed a Laing O’Rourke-led consortium as preferred bidder to deliver its new £200m hospital.

The Highwood Health Consortium comprises Laing O’Rourke as the construction partner and Serco to provide estate management services.
