Tenders have now been returned for the £200 million framework agreement contract for Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council. Works are expected to commence from 1st April 2013 and run for 4 years. This will be known as the South East Wales Highways Framework. Lots 1-8 are based on geographical boundaries and lots 9-12 are covering the boundaries of the participating authorities. Area A: Blaenau Gwent, Monmouthshire and Torfaen, Area B: Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Caerphilly, Area C: Newport and Cardiff and Area D: Bridgend and Vale of Glamorgan.
