Tenders have been returned to MHS Homes for the construction of 22 flats at Birling Avenue, Berengrave Lane, Rainham in Gillingham.
Work for the £2 million scheme will include demolition of the Rainham Police Station and construction of a three-storey block comprising of 20 two-bedroom and 2 one-bedroom apartments with associated parking.
Works are expected to start in October 2012.
