Works due to be complete on Tesco store

Work is scheduled to complete imminently on a scheme by Tesco Stores Limited at the former Wisbech Stadium site at Cromwell Road in Wisbech. This scheme comprises of the construction of a 10,219sqm Tesco's supermarket, an eight screen cinema, three restaurant units, a petrol filling station and a car wash. Bowmer & Kirkland Ltd will complete work on site mid February 2014. Saunders Partnership Architects are the architects who designed this £32 million scheme.

Plans approved for supermarket

Detailed plans have been approved for a scheme by Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc at 5 Neatmarket in Norwich. This scheme comprises of the conversion and alteration works to the building to retain a reduced size B&Q and a create a new Morrison's supermarket of 6,189sqm. Davis Wetherill Partnership are the architects who designed this £4.4 million scheme.

Grid connection agreed for wind farm

Lewis Wind Power has accepted an October 2021 grid connection offer from National Grid for it's £80 million Stornoway Wind Farm in the Isle of Lewis. Scheme comprises 36 wind farm that will product 130MW of energy and generate enough power for approximately 90,000 homes. The confirmation and acceptance of this is an important in the life of the proposal. This deal with National Grid will help boost the case for the delivery of the new Western Isles grid connection.

Scoping report submitted for wind turbines

A scoping report has been submitted to Highlands Council and an environmental impact study for Wind Ventures Ltd, for their 9 turbine proposal at Poll Lochaig Wind Farm at Cnocan Mor at Tomatin in the Highlands. The £18 million wind farm will have top power of 27 MW and once the scoping report has been accepted, a planning application will then be submitted.
