McLaren bags two commercial jobs worth £65m

McLaren Construction has won two commercial jobs in London worth a combined £65m.

Construction will start this week on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPT) after Scottish Transport Minister Keith Brown announced that an £8M pre-start works agreement had been signed.

Contractor completes Waitrose store

Work has completed on site for a scheme by Simons Construction and Waitrose Ltd at the Silk Mills site in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. Simons Construction completed work on 1st August 2014. This scheme comprised of the construction of a supermarket of 2,504 sqm with 242 car parking spaces.

Outline plans have been submitted for a scheme by Land Options West at the Heartlands Business Park in Whitburn, Bathgate. This scheme comprises of the construction of a supermarket of 1,625sqm and 2 retail units (with 283 car parking spaces. Smith Design Associates are the architects who designed this £5.2 million scheme.
