Outline plans have recently been submitted to Middlesbrough Council by Cleveland Fire Authority for a £6.3 million development at Middlesbrough Fire Station.
The contract is for the demolition of buildings and construction of a 3 storey fire station with youth academy. This Contract was part of the NEFRA 2 PFI which has been cancelled.
The scheme will now become part of a future Design & Build Framework for the construction of a total of 8 fire stations for Cleveland Fire Brigade.
