Morgan Sindall has confirmed its appointment to build a £19m deal to build a new Matalan office building, as revealed by Construction News in February. The office will be built on a 15-acre site and will provide 132,000 sq ft of fully serviced office facilities. The scheme off Acornfield Road will also include extensive car parking with the project due for completion in late 2014.
Construction News revealed last year that the firm was competing against Bam Construct, Eric Wright Construction and Willmott Dixon for the deal, with the shortlist whittled down to Morgan Sindall and Eric Wright earlier this year.
