In January 2012 we proudly announced that our partnership with The Builders’ Conference had been strengthened and that Glenigan was now the sole, exclusive, data partner of The Builders’ Conference. At the same time we increased our in-house, Bournemouth-based research team to identify more leads and to enhance those supplied by The Builders’ Conference. This double investment was purely aimed at delivering more opportunities, faster and in more depth than has ever been available to the UK construction industry.
This investment is delivering significant results. In 2011 we published an average of 1,221 leads at the tender stage each month. In January to June 2012 we published an average of 1,576 tender leads per month, a 29% increase.
More specifically, in the Southern half of the UK, we are currently publishing 1,069 projects per month on average in 2012. According to their recent press release, our closest competitor is currently publishing just 52% of this amount in this area, meaning Glenigan currently provide the widest coverage available in the market by a considerable margin.
In addition to this we have also increased the number of bidders listed on our projects thanks to the Builders’ Conference’s unique relationship with companies throughout the market. Most Glenigan projects now show at least 4 bidders per contract, allowing our customers to identify new business opportunities as early as possible.
Our six-year partnership with the Builders’ Conference cements Glenigan’s position as the leading provider of construction project leads in the UK. In addition, our partnerships with other key industry organisations such as BRE and CEEQUAL, our unique mobile app, Glenigan Mobile, and our continual dedication to product development and customer service, mean that our customers receive outstanding value for money.
