Buckingham Group Contracting Ltd have had their bills called for the construction of a football stadium at Avon Ring Road in Bristol for J Sainsbury Plc and Bristol Rovers Football Club.
Work for the £40 million scheme will include construction of a 20,000 seater stadium. The proposed stadium will be equipped with state of the art facilities, including a large supporter's club bar, an extensive club shop, banqueting and hospitality suite, convenience store, creche, gym, jogging track and approximately 1765 sqm of potential teaching space for the University of the West of England.
Work is expected to start in June 2013.
