Contractor Sought for £7m Highways Works

Blackpool Borough Council is currently inviting tenders for highways and public realm works as part of the Talbot Gateway scheme. Tenders are due to be returned on 13th April 2012. Works will include new and upgraded signalised road junctions with associated infrastructure, widening, narrowing and realignment of highways, street lighting, electricity, gas, water and drainage. Work for the £7 million scheme is expected to start on site in June 2012.
