Battersea chimney plan alterations set for green light

Proposed alterations to the sequencing of work at Battersea Power Station that will see three of the historic chimneys come down at once are set to get the green light, according to local government documents. The original build plan involved taking down the chimneys – which are in very poor condition and nearing the end of their design lives – one by one.
