Altro Ltd, based in Hertfordshire, is the UK’s leading
manufacturer and supplier of vinyl safety flooring, resin flooring
and hygienic wall products. Established in 1919, it continues to
deliver beautiful, sustainable and decorative solutions to the
construction industry. Altro has been a Glenigan subscriber for
nearly 14 years.
When Steve Griffiths, principal sales consultant, joined Altro
in 2001 the Glenigan service was already well incorporated into the
company’s sales strategy. The fundamental use of the information
has remained the same, to follow up sales leads and obtain
information on companies to target, but Steve has found our new
online service much more convenient. “Glenigan has been part and
parcel of our business development process for many years. Their
online service is a definite improvement – much less time consuming
and easier to use.”
Client services have recently helped Steve and the sales team
get more from their subscription. “It is a very useful system that
has been made more beneficial to us with the help of our account
manager, who ensures we have the correct criteria to suit us.
Recent training sessions have also been excellent – everyone found
them interesting and valuable. It highlighted new uses such as the
mail merge function, which will prove particularly useful with
specific campaigns.”
